DJ 9-Volt (Tristan)
Tristan (DJ 9-Volt) always gets a little extra excited when he gets to spin a Filipino wedding, mostly because he knows line dances like The Wobble and The Cupid Shuffle will be fair game. (He’s both Filipino and a sucker for a line dance.)
By day, Tristan is an IT Project Manager and a proud graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Tristan is our resident road warrior, traveling as far as the Philippines and Sevilla, Spain—which was his fave gig to DJ, not only was the groom a close friend, but the location provided the perfect backdrop to propose to his wife, Megan.
Tristan loves spinning weddings, but he’s had some pretty cool opportunities to spin for parties hosted by Food Network stars like Giada De Laurentis, Jet Tila, Alex Guarnaschelli, Antonia Lofaso, Brooke Williamson, Duff Goldman, Anne Burrell, Christina Tosi, Geoffrey Zakarian and many others as part of the New York and South Beach Wine and Food Festivals. He’s spun for non-profit organizations like Team Foster, The Ronald McDonald House, and the Ascend National Conference in DC. He has opened for DJ Ruckus and Rev Run. And he’s spun VIP parties for Bruno Mars, The Who, Marc Anthony, Coldplay, and the Washington Commanders
If given a choice, Tristan will default to a mix of 90’s Hip Hop and R&B, but with a resume like his, you can be sure that he’ll bring the right mix of music for you and your guests.
In his spare time, Tristan loves to read comic books—Marvel over DC, Avengers over Justice League, X-Men above all else—and uses his long drives traveling for gigs to listen to real books on Audible.

DJ Mike
Mike is a cofounder of the original Remixologists Crew from back in the day—seriously, he trained Tristan when they used to spin all the parties at the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from The Wharton School, and a Masters in Urban Spatial Analytics from the Graduate School of Design, and still uses them today.
A true Renaissance man, Mike’s an economic and statistical consultant by day, but spends most of his spare time doing things like singing with The Orpheus Club in Philadelphia, bowling, cooking, and baking—in fact, he was an audition finalist for The Master Chef. He’s a classically-trained musician and has played piano in concert at the Phillipine Consulate and Steinway Hall in New York.
Lucky for his clients, Mike discovered DJing in college instead of joining an a cappella group like he’d planned. He’s spun parties for more than 20 years, playing clubs in Philly, New York and Asia, for clients like The Who, as well as weddings, events, birthdays and anniversaries.
Philadelphia born and raised, Mike lives in Society Hill to this day. He’s a diehard Phillies and Eagles fan (but don’t hold that against him).
